Games and sports make children physically strong and mentally active. But at the level of Higher Secondary, they are abruptly asked to abstain from playing, their life will be left with no physical exercise.
It can not be denied that Higher Secondary is crucial period of a child’s life as it is the stage when a student has to make the career selection. But the proverb says, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. And we do not expect our boys and girls to be dull.
Keeping in mind this aspect, many schools have included physical education in their curriculum which can provide them with proper physical exercise.
So that, they can be physically strong and mentally fit to face any challenges in life. Only if a student is physically strong, he or she will be mentally active.
